I really don't care about Julian. Apparently he's a bit of a dictator in his own right. I have dictatorial traits myself too, but that's exactly the reason why I choose to stay away from any power. A matter of self-knowledge, and not really liking that other "me" very much.
That doesn't surprise me.....about Julian. I was just interested why he had chose Ecuador as I had heard little about its current regime. The President had a certain rock and roll charisma as well as talking the appealing leftist talk, but doubtless he is as flawed as they all are. I too am successfully steering well clear of all power, how the world must rejoice at such forbearance.
Actually the world is oblivious to the great sacrifice and heroism of our abstinence, and unrightfully so. We should be getting paid for not starting obscure political parties with dubious agendas.
Agreed. I shall voice this opinion on Monday to the Job Centre operative who is tasked with overseeing my imminent transfer to means tested penury. She must be alerted to the dangerous monster that may be unleashed.
Btw I do share Assanges concerns that the historically rather devious Swedish government will most likely hand him over to our friends in Washington, DC. Whatever an arsole he may be, I don't think he deserves to be delivered into the hands of a retarded medieval plea-bargaining judicial system which offers the defendant two distinct options: to go to prison or to go to prison. I have very little confidence in the impartiality and objectivity in these high-profile cases.
